Ms Smooth Lady AKA “Little Black” is an eye catching 7 year old mare standing 14.1H weighing 1100 pounds of pure sweetheart. She is by “The Smoothest” who’s sire is one of the greatest cutting sires of all time “Smooth as a Cat” and out of an own daughter of “High Brow Cat”. She has the pedigree to do whatever you want and then make you babies for years later.
She is a seasoned rope horse with the heart, mind and skills to do it all. Black is great in a stall or turned out and gets along with everyone. She is soft in the face, one-hand neck reins, moves off leg pressure, stops hard, and watches cattle with ease. She is safe for all levels but has enough motor skills and athletic abilities for advanced riders.
Black is experienced on the head and heel side but mainly used as a heel horse. She has been hauled and won on at the jackpots. She stands in the box and leaves off your hand. She been roped on by a 4 as well as a 8. She has all the speed you need for any roping. Black has also been to many of ranch rodeos and won on as well! She is a proven winner who’s consistent and as honest as they come. She loads easy in the trailer and stands quietly tied.
Little black has done all aspects of ranch work such as pushing, gathering, roping and sorting cattle. She will go wherever you point her and does it with ease. She crosses water and logs or anything in front of her with no hesitation.
This horse is kind, honest, and has the sweetest personality who gives 100% with everything she does. Black is my go to horse for just about anything. I can’t say enough good things about her.
