Romeo definitely earned his name. He’s as sweet as they come and a total love bug. He genuinely enjoys people, especially kids, and even spent this past summer working in a therapy program thanks to his gentle, steady temperament.
Romeo is a true all-around gelding. He was started on the barrel pattern but has never been pushed and stays quiet and correct. He’s been roped off of both live cattle and a dummy, and will happily slow down for arena work when asked. Out on the trail, he’s steady and confident whether you’re riding in a group or heading out alone. He’s traffic safe, has seen all kinds of farm equipment, and takes everything in stride.
He hauls beautifully, loads easily, and has been off the property plenty. Romeo has a nice walk, trot, and lope, and while he’s naturally quiet and easygoing, he does have speed available when you ask.
Romeo has been my personal horse for the past three years. He is uncomplicated, willing, and enjoyable to be around.
