Shamrock is the real deal—a true, tried, and tested ranch horse with the kind of resume most horses only dream of. Compact, athletic, and packed with talent, he’s got a thick mane, full tail, shapely hip, and that eye-catching bay roan color that turns heads everywhere he goes.
This spring alone, Shamrock has drug over 400 calves to the fire, roped cows and yearlings in the pasture, started work out of the head box, and has been started in breakaway roping. He’s gathered in rough country, crossed creeks, worked gates, flagged colts, and even had a bullwhip cracked off his back without blinking an eye.
In the Arena
He’s got a good working trot, smooth lope, and a nice stop. He side passes, collects, picks up both leads easily, and is very soft in the bridle. You can ride him bridleless, and he’s just as responsive. Stands quiet to be mounted, easy to bridle, and ground ties like a gentleman.
On the Trail
Shamrock is quiet, confident, and willing. He’ll cross water, bridges, downfall—you name it. Rides out alone or with a group. We’ve hauled him into town, ridden him through traffic, and nothing spooks him.
Manners & Care
Shamrock is as easy to be around as he is to ride. He stands patiently to be groomed, saddled, or clipped, and he enjoys the attention. Gets along well with other horses in the pasture and does just as well kept in a stall. Easy to shoe with good feet, loads and unloads (backs out) with no issues.
