Cash
Around the barn/on the ground
MSU Easy Lovin Cash, aka Cash, is a 13-year-old AQHA gelding. He is a DASH FOR CASH grandson! He stands 15.2hands big-boned and stocky. Great for any size rider! Cash is in your pocket, goofy puppy dog personality, the gelding that will always make you laugh and meet you at the gate! Cash is currently barefoot with no maintenance. He lives out 24/7 with access to a stall. Cash is great for beginner handlers, as he is easygoing and has no tendency to push, bite, kick, or bolt. He will follow you and do whatever you ask of him. Cash stands tied in crossties or single ties also started on ground tying and picking it up super quick. Cash is hobble-trained as well! He loads and unloads easily. He backs off with no fit. Will stand tied at a horse show all day long or overnight! Cash eats and drinks great on the road! Cash is currently turned out with two mares, one stallion, one other gelding, one filly, and one jack donkey and gets along with everyone!

History
Cash was born and raised at Mississippi State University, where he was broke as a 3yo and a lesson horse and on their show team until age 7, where one of his students fell in love with him and bought him and took him home with her where he was placed on a large cattle farm in Kansas where sadly she didn’t have much time for him so, he just hung out with his cows for about 4.5 years. She decided he was too good of a horse to go to waste any longer, so she decided it was best to part with him. Cash has now been back at work for the past 6 months, and he never missed a beat, riding off just where he left off! Recently, he has had 45 days of training!

Trails/camping
Cash will lead be in the middle or bring up the rear with any level of rider down the trail! He easily crosses water and bridges alone. He is very confident! Cash loves camping. This spring, he spent the week at Assateague Island National Park, where he swam in the ocean and was ridden by riders of all levels, never making a wrong move! Overnight he was in a one strand electric fence about a 12ft by 14ft by himself and never tested it.

Tack and equipment
Cash rides English and Western and bareback
English- medium tree gullet and a 44-46inch girth
Western- 7-71/2 inch gullet 34-inch girth

Barrels and pole-bending
Cash has recently started on barrels and poles, where he has picked it up extremely quickly and has won me checks in the 3rd and 4th draws without being pushed! He has been ridden and raced by a 13-year-old girl who is timid. Cash walks flat-footed into the alleyway and arena by himself! He will also walk the pattern without trying to pick up the pace without you asking him to go! He is very responsive to your leg and moves off it very well, going around barrels! He has also started neck reining and will neck rein in an arena!

English and jumping
Cash will also take you to the local hunter show and jump whatever is put in front of him with no spook or silliness. He knows his leads are great in the arena with other horses and does not get distracted easily! I have jumped him up to 2’9, and he has plenty of scope to go higher! He seems to enjoy jumping as well and has also seen cross-country jumps!

Bombproof/shooting
Cash is not afraid of tarps, flags, blowing bags, or objects. We have shotguns around him and think that with some training, he could be an excellent horse for mounted shooting games, as he’s very smooth to ride! He will stand still on the ground while you shoot a handgun under the saddle; he will jump a small amount and walk off! I’ve only shot off him once, though, and he improved a ton in only 10 shots. Cash is good with dogs running around and barking at him, as my yellow lab loves to try to play while we’re riding! He can be led by four-wheelers, side-by-sides, and even vehicles. He will also follow a tractor or four-wheeler down the trail!

Cash is safe for traffic and big trucks. He has been ridden into town through the drive-through, been fed apples in the McDonald’s drive-through, and loved it, he attracts a ton of attention in town and loves getting petted. He also walked right into Tractor Supply through the sliding doors, walked around, got tons of attention, and loved it, and then walked right out. I have hard-copy papers in hand and a signed transfer! Cash has a long, beautiful supper, thick tail! As well as a long mane! Up-to-date or farrier, vaccines, and dental work! He’s ready to hit the show ring!
