With a heavy heart, I am seeking a very special home for my 7-year-old German Riding Pony mare.

I bred her myself and raised her with bottle feeding as a foal. As a result, she has become incredibly people-oriented—more of a dog in a horse’s body than a typical pony. She loves human contact, trusts her handler implicitly, and would prefer to be with her person at all times.

She has been traditionally handled on the ground, trained with Tellington TTouch, and introduced to dual training methods, all with great care and versatility to prepare her gently for riding. Due to my pregnancies, she was only backed at six years old and has been under saddle for about a year now. She has proven to be absolutely well-behaved and uncomplicated. She is good in the field, over jumps, and during off-site training, handling new situations confidently and calmly. She has been trained with sensitivity and a lot of feel. She is not a “sport machine,” but a genuine heart horse with an extraordinary character. 

Therefore, I am looking for a loving home where she will continue to be treated with respect and have a close bond with her person, along with sufficient turnout. She is accustomed to a box stall but has mainly been kept in an open stable environment so far. Despite her honest nature, she is not suitable as a beginner pony due to her training level.
