The stallion himself competed at the Olympic Games under Marco Kutscher, and Tony Soprano AWN Z was bred out of his full sister, Wimette van het Kluizebos. In combination with Lancer III, Wimette already foaled the international 1.40m-level jumping horse Luristan, and she is here paired with the Grand Prix sport and breeding stallion Tangelo van de Zuuthoeve, who has proven his value through standouts such as Tobago Z, Darry Lou and Bintang II.
