Das Hengstfohlen ist kräftig gebaut, zeigt vielversprechende Bewegungen und benötigt aufgrund seines jungen Alters eine erfahrene Person. Conthargo ist brav, mutig, kontaktfreudig und mag den Umgang mit Menschen. Wie es für einen Hengst üblich ist, ist er manchmal etwas schelmisch.
