Registered AQHA “SWEET AS HONEY JK” known as our sweet “Daisy Dukes”. She is a stunning golden palomino with big dapples. She is just 7 yrs old. She is as wide as she is tall. She is such an easy and fun to ride horse.
This girl is as classy and stunning as they make them. She is a safe all around type anyone can ride. She is a short stout, thick, wide made girl. She has that perfect old school foundation quarter horse look. She is what they are suppose to look like.
Daisy Dukes has that old soul, been-there-done-that personality that makes her the go-to for a quiet enjoyable ride. She is both well trained and well behaved in any scenario or discipline. She is quiet and soft to ride in or out of the arena, alone or in a group. Not at all skittish, jumpy or reactive yet sure-footed and nimble through coarse uneven terrain. Has a ground covering walk, a silky smooth jog, and an excellent lope all on a loose rein! Not forward or pushy. She is very forgiving and patient both on the ground and under saddle. She ready to go show with endless potential to progress. Has enough of a handle to participate in local fun shows or 4H and also pull her weight around the ranch.
Daisy Dukes has spent plenty of long days out on the ranch and in the calf pens. Spent a lot of time moving cows around on her. She will side passes to open and close gates, rides anywhere in the group, drug logs, crosses water, easy to catch wherever you find her, loads and hauls like a dream, stands tied quietly, great for the farrier.
Daisy Dukes is absolutely a favorite among everyone that meets her. I cannot express enough how sweet she is. She really wants to please you. She doesn’t have any bad habits. You will not get hurt around this mare.
Daisy Dukes is a super easy keeper. Requires no maintenance of any kind. No special feed or supplements. She can go barefoot or put shoes on her. She has excellent hooves. She gets along great with other horses. She is not mean to other horses or marish. You can stall her or turn her out. Doesn’t matter to her. She sells 100% sounds with no issues.
