Minnie is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she’s been there and done that for just a 6-year-old. She stands 14.2hands tall and is thick made. She’s a well stout built mare with lots of shape. Minnie is fancy broke and is eager to please. Minnie is bred really well for any type of performance event you want to do. She’s still young and has a lifetime ahead of her.
Minnie is a great trail horse. She doesn’t care if she’s in the front, middle, or back of the pack. She will cross all types of water, swim, cross logs, go through mud, rough terrain, over bridges and is traffic safe. She’s not spooky out on the trail and will walk all day if asked.
Not only is she great out on the trail, but Minnie has also been started in the box on tracking the dummy and doing some calf roping. She would make a jam up calf roper or breakaway. Minnie has been used previously on a ranch sorting, doctoring cattle and branding pits. She has worked in the feedlots and loaded cattle on the trucks.
She will neck rein with one hand, side pass, open/close gates, steps right into a lope, is soft in the face, works off leg pressure with ease and takes both leads. Ask Minnie to whoa and you better have a seat as she has a big stop.
Minnie is currently shod all the way around. She stands great for the farrier, baths, tacking/untacking, and mounting. She’s easy to catch. She does great in a stall as well and has great stall manners. She loads in and out of the trailer easily.
