Miss Josies Song… Who doesn’t love a big beautiful dappled buckskin! Josie is a 5 year old AQHA mare who stands 15.3 hands tall. She is a big gentle giant and absolutely loves her people. Josie started out as a ranch horse and has done every job on the ranch from roping to sorting to gathering cattle. She keeps a level head in all situations and enjoys working and having a job. For the last year Josie has mainly been a go-to pleasure and trail horse. She will cross and go through anything you ask her to, has a nice ground covering walk, and travels out on a loose rein alone or with others. Josie has been ridden by all levels of riders and adjusts well to who is on her back. She has never offered to buck and stays gentle even with time off. She has also carried the flag and it doesn’t phase her at all! We have done the trail course obstacles with her as well and she is brave and willing to try whatever is asked of her. She would also make a wonderful barrel horse or head horse prospect. Josie has wonderful ground manners and an in your pocket personality. She stands tied, bathes, loads and hauls nicely. She is currently barefoot and has no issues and requires no maintenance. Josie is ready to find her person to adventure with! She is located in Marana, Arizona and we would be happy to help arrange transport anywhere. She will come with a current coggins and health certificate.
