Lena’s High Play “Scarlett” is a 2021 model registered AQHA gray mare standing 14.3 hands with the kind of versatility and real-world experience that is hard to overlook. Whether you’re headed down the trail, into the arena, or have a day’s work to get done, Scarlett has the background to step into a variety of roles.
Out on the trails, Scarlett is experienced and confident. She has been ridden through the Ozarks, navigating the hills, timber, creeks, rocky ground, and changing terrain that come with the country. She is surefooted and comfortable traveling outside the confines of an arena, making her an enjoyable mount for someone who appreciates getting out and covering country.
Scarlett is equally comfortable in the arena. She has a nice handle, travels willingly, and gives her rider an enjoyable, responsive feel. She has the foundation and ability to continue in a number of directions, whether someone wants to enjoy her as an all-around riding horse or put her talents toward a more specific job.
Her experience doesn’t stop at recreational riding. Scarlett has been used on the ranch and at the stockyards, where she has been exposed to cattle, commotion, tight spaces, gates, pens, and the everyday activity that comes with working livestock. That kind of experience has given her an education you simply can’t replicate by riding circles at home.
Scarlett brings a rare combination of youth, experience, and versatility to the table. She has already seen the kind of varied riding that helps build a dependable, confident horse. Whether you’re looking for a trail partner, ranch horse, arena prospect, or an all-around mare, Scarlett has the ability and willingness to take on the job.
