Sounds a little like a bad joke, but it’s anything but because it’s Miss Honey! This sweet 15.0 hand, 5 year old AQHA Mare is the real deal! Standing on a firm breeding foundation of some of the best ranch horses and old school horses you can find she brings together the true dream of the American Quarter Horse. This girl has the true talent and trainability that every program or owner wants, and she’s the got the color too! Miss Honey has gone and done, she’s been used as a ranch horse to sort cattle, gather cattle, load trucks, and pair mamas cows and calves. She’s been rode by an experienced beginner 12 year old to trail ride and take lessons. She’s been hauled and trail rode at about every hot spot trail riding head in the country and she’s dabbled in some English and jumping. Miss Honey is sweet as they come and easily can be homed with mares or geldings, no mareish behavior here. She has fantastic ground manners and is always easy to catch, bridle, saddle, shoe, bath, lead, load, and tie. She lopes on both leads correct and easy, has a big pretty trot that would make her so fun in the Ranch Versatility, and a soft easy face that makes riding her a dream. She has a great start to a spin both left and right and moves off a neck or direction rein, just take your pick! Honey is a fantastic trail horse and happily goes out alone or in a group. She is confident over logs, water, brush, rocks, bridges and more. She’s been rode in town and sure enjoys the old lady fan club she has collected on the way to the Sonic in Baxter! This girl is practical and fancy, she can get the job done or cruise down the trail with a margarita in hand. She’s always gentle and happily lets the littles brush and love on her. She’s happy to be apart of your day and loves the chaos that the pigs, goats, ducks, dogs, and kitties of our place bring. She’ll carry the flag, and would look like a barbie dream horse at the Rodeo grand entry or the drill team. She’ll drag the tarp or sled with no problem. Miss Honey will also side pass to the mounting block, trailer fender, or a big log for easy mounting! She rides bridle-less too!
