I am privileged to offer you a once in a lifetime opportunity to own “Nova”. This stunning lady is a 4 year old, halflinger mare. Standing a stout 14.3 hands tall and weighing in at around 1,000 pounds. This mare stands out in a crowd, not only she is absolutely beautiful….she has the mind set of an “old sou”l. This mare was foaled out at my house, and has been a pleasure to have in my barn since birth. Nova, exceeds all expectations of anything we could ever ask for. She was broke out the “right” way, in a slow and steady manner. This flashy mare has a “been there, done that” attitude. Nova will trail ride out alone or with a large group of people. She will gladly lead the pack, or stay in the back. She goes through water, crosses logs, brush, tall grass, you name it she will go through it with absolutely zero hesitation. Nova is 100% TSS and loves to go to town! She is buggy and cart broke as well. Nova will definitely put in a hard days work as she is broke to all farm equipment as well. Nova will go up and down any terrain and is very sure footed and is always looking out for her rider. She has been ridden by all ages and skill levels of riders from first timers, to experienced riders. She has been on many trail rides with my 5 year old daughter and has never failed her. Nova will ride bareback, double, or even tote 3 kids around on her back with no issues. She loads like a dream, and will basically load herself. She is ball broke, tarp broke, whip broke, anything that you could throw at her she is use to. Nova has been turnt out with geldings, other mares, minis, and even cows and will gladly get along with whoever she is with. She is not sour when going away from the barn or when she is in heat. She will stand tied all night long wherever you park her, whether its at a tie line, picket line, trailer, stall…she doesn’t care. Nova has zero bad habits, no buck, rare, kick, or bite. She is an easy keeper and does not require shoes. As we do have them on her now only due to trail riding in rocky conditions. Nova will ride western and English, she will take a nice slow steady trot or a nice English extended trot. She lopes right off with the correct lead as well. She stands perfect for the ferrier and loves to be hosed off. She stands perfect for a bath and to get clipped, you do not have to twitch her to clip her ears!! Nova is always the first to meet you at the gate and is very easy to catch. Infact, when she sees you coming she will walk right up to you! Nova is very user friendly, anyone that can sit in the saddle and hold the reins can ride this mare. You can let Nova sit for months and she never gets fresh. She will pick up right where you left off. She has a ton of trail and rode miles, she has even been ridden along the side of a main highway with semis and never missis a beat! Nova will also lay down for you to mount! She always stays confident in any situation that you put her in. She likes arena work and doesn’t get sour with it. She will do pattern work as well as western riding, (crossing ground poles ect). Nova is the “REAL DEAL”. Please come to the farm and check her out!
