Shiloh, the definition of broke, broke, broke, is a golden palomino mare with a huge heart and tons of grit. This gorgeous girl is big, shapey, and well mannered. Shiloh stands 15 hands tall and is 12-years-old. This mares resume truly checks many boxes- ranch work, overnight camping trips, trails, to toting the kids around.
Shiloh would be an excellent family horse. She is safe, calm natured on the ground, and is the perfect size to make everyone in the family happy.
She navigates down the trails like a pro, staying steady and surefooted on all terrain, never getting her rider in a bind. She will cross through the deepest water, travel along the muddiest ground, to narrowing binds, wooded areas, to safely traveling through open country. She has been used on multiple overnight camping trips where she has led a pack mule around. She rides out alone or in groups, she’s happy leading the pack or bringing up the rear. When it comes to ranch work we have used her to gather, pen, sort, and doctor on, and she does it all with determination and grit. She has also been very useful for us ponying colts on. Shiloh sure makes for an easy mount and fun one too. She also doesn’t mind packing the kids around. She is used to all the shenanigans the young ones can pull from time to time. She also does good in the arena- she rides one handed, neck reins, side passes, is soft in the bridle, and has nice lead changes.
On the ground Shiloh is calm, and kind hearted. She stands tied patiently, easy to catch, loves a good bath, and to be groomed on. She trailers easily and tacks up hassle free.
This golden dream of a mare has that old school shape, kind demeanor, and safeness that’s hard to find. Anyone would truly be lucky to add Shiloh to their string.
Shiloh has a recent PPE and is also up-to-date on dental work.
