Introducing Dunit Like Freckles, or as we like to call him Cooper. If you’re looking for that special horse that will do anything you ask him to do then here’s your guy! Cooper is a very laid back guy that is very easy to ride, that any level of rider will get along with. Cooper has been there and done that all with a great attitude and willingness. From western to English, trails to cow work, roping or lessons, show or just a fun Sunday trail horse, Cooper is up for anything.
Out of some of the greatest bloodlines leading back to Hollywood Dunit on the Top side and Colonel Freckles on the Bottom side, not only does he have the beauty but he also has the brains. Cooper has an easy one hand neck rein, he will also go direct rein, he moves off leg pressure very nicely. He side passes, and has a nice pivot. And a big stop. Cooper will set his head and form up very nicely at a trot/jog and lope. He hits both leads and has a smooth trot and lope that’s easy to sit. He is very beginner friendly and also broke very well where experienced riders absolutely love him. Cooper will trail ride out alone or in large groups. He will lead or follow along. I have been using him lately as a guide horse to take large numbers of riders on long all day trail rides. We have also used copper for lessons, working cows, roping practice, obstacle courses and he’s always been fabulous.
Cooper will stand quietly while tied, or crosstied, he’s great for the vet, farrier and being bathed and tacked. He loads up on the trailers nicely and will walk off or back off when asked. Copper has a very friendly personality that is easy to love. His ground manners are on point and he has no vices.
