He stands 15.2 hands tall and is stocky built and will weight 1,250 lbs. He is built to last and can carry any size rider. Popeye is very good broke to ride and very quiet and gentle in everyway. Popeye had professional reining training when he was younger and the last year has been primarily used for trail riding. He has also given some riding lessons in the arena also. He is the definition of a all around good broke safe gelding. He can do any job and can be ridden by any rider. Popeye has a nice one hand neck rein, will turn around correctly each way. Good stop and back up and side pass. Has a nice head set and smooth trot and lopes nice circles hitting his correct leads. Popeye is very broke and has lots of training but he is also very easy to ride and not complicated at all to ride. Saddle him up get on and go enjoy a nice relaxing ride. Great ground manners and easy to catch and good for the farrier and easy to bath. Popeye is every ones barn favorite. He is the whole package !
