“WOW! What is he?!?” - The question I get literally every time this horse steps gently off the trailer at whatever shenanigans I am bringing him to that day. Boozy is STUNNING. Pictures barely do him justice. He has beautiful bone, structure and hoof that is paired right along with the most unique champagne color, and dapples dotting his beautiful coat. His eyes are amber, and shine with kindness. He truly catches everyone’s attention, and he deserves it!
Past the looks of this wonderful gelding, he is a total pleasure to be around. Respectful and gentle with a puppy dog personality, he has zero vices and is incredibly trustworthy. He has been around dogs, dirtbikes, quads, trucks, kids, etc.. Boozy keeps his brain in any situation. He has come off property with me countless times and ridden in all sorts of environments. He will stand tied politely to the trailer, and has cross-tied in unfamiliar barns with no issues. He has three lovely gaits and picks up both leads easily. Soft in the face and super adjustable to wherever you want him. He is not a kick every stride ride, but also not a pull back the entire ride.. Boozy sits perfectly in the middle of that “whoa-go” threshold. He is a genuine, easy, uncomplicated ride. I’ve had beginners ride him and he trots around like a show horse regardless of what buttons are being pressed. My 10 month old son has even ridden him with me!
Boozy has been ridden both English and western. He has popped over small jumps, but honestly prefers to jump logs on trails. Speaking of trails… Boozy is a trail MACHINE! He is soooo brave, willing and fun out in the woods. We have had a blast together, and trail ride out alone often. He will cross water, logs, whatever you point his nose to.
I personally would love to see this horse as a ranch horse, western/English dressage, and a trail blazer. But he is so versatile, and could thrive in anything you set your mind to!
He has NO known vices and is ready to make someone’s dreams come true.
