Smokey is a 9yo 15hh beautiful gray gelding with dark points and webbing on his legs! Hes super flashy and is as solid of a horse as you will find. Smokey is 100% sound in every way. He is very fancy broke, spins both ways and has a nice soft turn around when you ask for it. He breaks at the poll and will never lift his head. Has a great headset and has had a lot of training that sticks with him. This horse is so easy to ride, he is so soft and broke just naturally. He carries himself so classy and you can feel that when you’re on his back. He has great feeling movement and is actually fun to ride regardless of what you’re doing on him. He’s comfortable and easy just being a basic trail/family horse or he’s broke enough to go in any direction in a ranch trail or obstacle course. He’s broke enough you could absolutely rope on him and he’s smart and willing enough he’d finish very easily. I can’t say enough good things about how civil this horse rides. He’s truly as broke as you could ask him to be. He will short lope off, and when you ask him to stop he has a beautiful stop! He has all the tools to do anything you want with him, but he’s gentle and good minded enough if you just want an exceptionally broke and easy going horse to love on he’d be great for that too! We really love his personality. He’s very sweet and loves attention. Stands all day for you to pet and brush on him. He’s good with his feet. Extremely easy to catch.. stands to be saddled and mounted.. etc. You name it Smokey will do it! He loads great in a slant load or open stock and backs off nice. Smokey has been hauled all around to different areas so he is not green in traveling. He isn’t buddy/barn sour when riding out either. He’s cool with being alone but is great with other horses too.
