Juan has always had a very long, thick mane. Unfortunately, a pasture mate recently chewed a large portion of his mane off during turnout in a single afternoon. The good news is Juan naturally grows exceptional hair, and it is already growing back thicker than ever. If you look at earlier photos you can see just how impressive his mane normally is, and it will absolutely grow back.
