Louie is safe, he is broke, and he loves people and attention! This gelding has the best personality, he always gives you his all. Louie never seems to have a bad day and is always a willing, calm horse that will keep you out of trouble. He has a very calm easy going disposition, with enough get up and go to get a job done or carry you to the top of the mountain.
Louie is a tried and true western ranch horse. He’s seen lots of cows and wide open spaces, high mountains and steep rocky country. You can saddle him in freezing temps step on and go. He’s a very cowy horse that loves to be sorted on and is super fun to rope on. we have started him in the arena heeling and breakaway as well. Louie will go through water over deadfall and is great in steep country. He is a very smooth horse and won’t hurt you to ride all day.
In the arena Louie takes his leads great has a nice stop and good turn arounds. He will lope slow and has super good speed control. The kids love to lope him around bareback and take him to the river to swim. He would be great for a youth to do 4h shows or queening contests. He’s broke enough for the reigning classes and is awesome at all trail obstacles.
