Dreamer is exactly what his name sounds like—he is truly a dream. He is a gorgeous palomino gelding that is made exactly how you would want one: stout, correct, and built to last a lifetime. With his beautiful mane and tail, kind eye, and great disposition, Dreamer is the kind that catches your attention anywhere he goes. He is gentle every day, extremely broke to ride, and has a personable personality that makes him a pleasure to have around.
In the arena, Dreamer is exceptionally well trained. He lopes beautiful, collected circles both directions with plenty of self-carriage and is soft through his face and rib cage. He rides off your seat and legs, has a nice turnaround, a good stop, and is a beautiful mover that is smooth and easy to sit. He is responsive without being overly sensitive and makes riding him enjoyable.
Dreamer is also coming along very nicely in the heading. He scores good, runs to cattle well, gives you a great shot, and handles the steer nicely across the pen. He has the size, ability, and mind to continue progressing into a very nice head horse.
Outside the arena, Dreamer is as solid as they come. We have used him for all aspects of ranch work, and he knows what a day’s work is. He has been ridden through timber and open pastures, crossed water and deadfall, and handles whatever you point him toward. We have also ridden him through town, and he is traffic safe. Whether you are working cattle or simply spending the day out on the trail, Dreamer takes everything in stride.
Around our place, Dreamer is accustomed to all the everyday commotion, including dogs, tarps, pigs, donkeys, ponies, equipment, and plenty of activity. He is easy to catch, good to shoe, bathe, saddle, load, and handle, and he saddles up the same every day. Dreamer loves attention and genuinely enjoys being around people.
Dreamer is the kind of gelding that is hard to find—beautiful, broke, versatile, personable, and ready to go do whatever job you ask of him. From the arena to the roping pen, ranch work, or a day on the trail, Dreamer is the kind you will look forward to saddling every single day.
