Ghosted By Peppy, known around here as “Ghost,” is a 5 year old palomino gelding registered with the AQHA. He stands 15.2 hands tall and is a very broke, well rounded gelding that is ready to go on and excel in just about any direction you choose. He combines a great mind, strong foundation, and eye catching looks that make him stand out both in the arena and outside.
Ghost is very solid in the arena with a true neck rein and a correct pivot. He rides around very responsive to your seat and legs. He will walk, trot, and lope on a loose rein and is just as willing to pick up a headset when asked. He has a good stop, backs up correctly, and stays soft in the bridle. He is the kind of horse that is enjoyable to ride whether you are asking him to work or just taking it easy.
Outside, Ghost is just as dependable as he is in the arena. He is confident riding out alone and handles water, brush, and different terrain without issue. He has been used around gates and will open and shut them with ease, and he will carry a flag quietly. He is athletic and sure footed, making him a great option for ranch riding, endurance trail riding, or as a performance prospect.
On the ground, Ghost has good manners. He stands tied to be tacked, brushed, and bathed and is easy to bridle. He is good about picking up all four feet and is easy to catch whether he is in a stall or out in the pasture.
