Spankin Fame is one of the classiest geldings you will ever come across and guaranteed to make you do a double take. You could not put together a more perfect young gelding. He is pretty headed, nice shoulder, and big hipped. Spanky is stout made with a lot of bone throughout and hard black feet. He has a long mane and a thick tail.

Spanky has been in our family since just right before he turned 1 year old, so we have owned him just shy of 2 years. What an absolute joy he has been to raise and get to this point. One word that I’ve continually associated with him is, easy. Everything I have thrown at him he takes it in stride, no matter how ridiculous it is. As a yearling I would pony him off seasoned horses or off the side by side. I took him across the obstacles, loaded and taught him to back out of the trailer, and handled him on a weekly basis. All of that work has transitioned beautifully since he has been started under saddle and ridden consistently. Spanky has a smooth trot and most comfortable rocking chair lope, picking his leads up easily. He naturally wants to stop deep and on his hind end. He is starting to turnaround,side pass, and will break at the poll.
Spanky goes over any and all obstacles such as; teeter totter, bridges, logs, tires, etc. Go check the mail or head down the road on him, he is traffic safe. He goes through water and is patient going down embankments. Not much phases him, he is very much an old soul.
Spanky is very personable and loves people, especially if you have treats then he is your best friend. Super easy to catch, he lives out on 15 acres of pasture, so I usually take the side by side to catch him. He gets along good with other horses. He is an easy keeper and stalls good. He is UTD on dental, coggins, trimming, and worming. Clean and current X-rays done on 09/10/2025. Spanky has been well loved and in the best of care. He is going to make a top notch performance gelding one day, no matter which direction you want to go. Spanky could do barrels, roping, ranch, trail, etc. He has so much try and is very talented.
