Tex is a 13 year old blue roan AQHA gelding standing 15 hands and very stocky. Tex is a super broke gelding that is quiet and gentle in every way and he is also super fancy broke. He is the whole package. Tex was raised on a cattle operation where he was used as there go to finished ranch horse that did all aspects of ranch, roping, dragging the calves to the branding fire to going out and checking pairs. He was also used as a guest horse for the ranch to put the beginner guests on to trail ride. He is great on the trails and is very seasoned and sure footed when the terrain of the trail gets rough, He will take his time and pick his way thru the safest way. He will go through water without a fuss and will ride around quiet on a loose rein, our daughter that’s 5 can ride him anywhere and plays around him. He stands to tack up and mount/dismount also stands great to be bathed clipped and shod. He is up to date on farrier, wormer, dentals and all routine maintenance. He is also a very good arena horse and has a nice head set, nice trot and lopes nice circles each way hitting his correct lead each and every time. You will love his neck rein it makes riding him so easy. You can let him sit long period of times pull him out, saddle him up and he will ride right off quiet and gentle each time. He’s so easy and friendly to catch, easy to ride and just makes owning a horse alot of fun.
