He can pasture rope, sort, doctor, and load out the trucks. He is handy and very dependable. He is a real joy to ride as he will do whatever is asked of him without hesitation or refusal. He will go anywhere you point his nose. He loves deep water, he will step over logs, pick through tough rocky ground, and go up and down very steep ground quietly. He has a nice one hand neck rein, an easy turnaround, and a big stop. He is super comfy, easy to sit, and obedient. He stands still to mount from either side, picks up all four feet, backs up, and moves off of leg cues. He will unload in unfamiliar country and ride off as if he had been there many times before. He lopes nice circles in and out of the arena. You don’t have to be in a pen for him to stay on a nice circle and he will catch his leads. He stands tied for any length of time, loads with ease, and rides out alone as brave and as confident as one can. He will lead a group of horses or bring up the rear. He walks out nicely, doesn’t mind dogs trailing his heels, and is not spooky. He is one cool horse and is my pick of the barn. He is 11 years old and stands 15.3 hands tall.
