Wyatt is a drop dead gorgeous, 10 year old strawberry roan, quarter horse gelding standing at 15 hands and built like a tank, just like the old foundation quarter horses. He is rock solid and came from the big sky country where he was working on a ranch for a living.
Wyatt is super well broke. He has a smooth walk-trot-canter and a one hand neck rein. He side passes and has a good stop. He is not only pretty to look at but also a very fun horse to ride. Whether it's trails or in the arena, he catches his correct leads and on the trails he will walk through the creeks and ditches, will cross logs and go through dense brush. He is happy to lead on the trails or follow. He gets along very well with other horses, whether it's in the pasture or stall.
We have taken him to state parks for trail riding as well local fun events. I have personally used him in team penning and sorting events and he knows how to work cattle. We've also roped off him.
Wyatt trailers like a dream and will back right off from a small trailer as well. He is definitely a barn favorite and always ready for his rider to go trail ride or check fences or whatever.
He is gentle and loves attention. What I really like about him, you can ride him once week or once a year and he stays gentle and broke.
Wyatt is up to date on shots and dewormer as well as farrier and Coggins and dental.
