From the direct damline of 1.50m-winner Joan

Socrates is sired by the top showjumper Chaplin, with whom Martin Fuchs won the World Cup Final in Leipzig in 2022. The pair also claimed victories in the CSI5* Grand Prix of Cascais, Mexico City and Madrid, as well as the World Cup qualifier in Lyon. Chaplin has also made a very promising start as a breeding stallion, and he is represented here by a talented horse from his first crop. On the dam’s side, Socrates is equally well endowed: his dam has already produced several 1.35/1.40m-level horses, including the international 1.40m-level performer Sawan Z. Also notable is the fact that dam Unicasan is also the granddam of the international 1.50m-winner Joan ridden by Pius Schwizer, and of the 1.45m-level performers Fan and Hischmiran.
