This handsome Gígjar, with a height of 14.4 hands and a solid build, is one of the larger individuals of his breed and, combined with an outstanding pedigree, makes for an impressive overall package.

His sire is highly approved, and his grandsire, “Spuni frá Vesturkoti,” is well-known among breeders and enthusiasts. His maternal grandsire is also highly approved, appealing to breeding hearts.

Thanks to his lineage, he clearly has four distinct gaits of excellent quality, which are always easy to ride and impress with their expressive movement.  
With an ambitious rider, Gígjar can definitely excel in sport disciplines such as four-gait and Tölt.  
His temperament is ideal: not too fast, not too slow, neither dull nor overly sensitive.  
Thanks to his friendly and polite nature, he is also well-suited as a luxury leisure horse and for youth riders.

Gígjar is always motivated and eager to work, whether in the arena, in the paddock, indoors, or in the field.  
He is currently kept in a paddock box with a buddy and shows himself to be very easygoing. He also feels very comfortable within a herd.
