Im Umgang zeigt er sich stets brav und unkompliziert – egal ob beim Putzen, Schmied oder Verladen. Erste Turniererfahrungen durfte er bereits sammeln und ist Dressurpferde A platziert. Auch beim Auswärtstrainings benimmt er sich vorbildlich. Unter dem Sattel ist Filino ein feines, sehr sensibles Pferd, das mit seinem Reiter harmonieren möchte. Er reagiert ehrlich auf die Hilfen und braucht einen ruhigen, gefühlvollen Reiter, der ihm Sicherheit vermittelt.
