Auch im Turniersport machte Cancun unter Takashi Shibayama Haase bereits auf sich aufmerksam: Seriensieger in Springpferdeprüfungen der Klasse A bis M*, Sieger im Geestlandchampionat in Elmlohe mit einer Wertnote von 9,2, bis hin zum Sieg in der Qualifikation zum Bundeschampionat für fünfjährige Springpferde in Bargstedt. Auch auf dem Bundeschampionat selbst überzeugte Cancun und konnte sich in allen drei Springprüfungen platzieren! Dieser sportliche Erfolg kommt nicht von ungefähr!
