Ich habe Basalt von den Amischen gekauft, weil er ihnen ein bisschen zu albern und energielos war. Basalt ist sowohl auf dem Boden als auch unter dem Sattel viel mehr Whoa als Go. Er genießt es, alle Menschen zu treffen, besonders Babys und andere Tiere! Basalt ist unglaublich sanft und hat ein unglaublich ruhiges Gemüt, jeder bettelt mich an, ihn wegen seiner altseelenartigen Persönlichkeit und Freundlichkeit zu behalten! Basalt ist darauf trainiert, neue Dinge zu erforschen, um Vertrauen zu erwecken, und daher ist er extrem neugierig und erschreckt nicht so leicht. Wenn er sich erschreckt, bleibt er einfach stehen und zuckt zusammen, bevor er es sich ansieht, also stellen Sie sicher, dass Sie einen Keks bereithalten, um seinen Mut zu belohnen! Basalt weiß, wie man am Montageblock parkt und wartet auf die Kekssteuer, bevor er eine Fahrt beginnt. Er hält bei der Erwähnung von "ho" oder nur mit einem sanften Druck der Schenkel inne. Basalt hat tadellose Bodenmanieren, drängt sich nie und bewegt sich vom Druck des Seilhalfters zusammen mit verbalen Signalen. Basalt verlädt/hängt leise und steht höflich für den Hufschmied. Er ist barhuf, hat starke Hufe und braucht keine Schuhe/Pflege. Er ist darauf trainiert, alle 4 Hufe leicht anzuheben, so dass selbst ein kleines Kind seine Beine hochhalten kann. Er liebt auch seine Winterdecke und eine gründliche Pflege! Er lebt derzeit mit Ziegen zusammen und liebt sie, er steht auch mit Pferden auf dem Totempfahl und kennt sich mit Kühen aus, daher sein leicht abgekauter Schwanz (der schnell nachwächst!). Basalt wird sich in einem Haus mit Vieh als Freund oder mit Pferden auszeichnen, er ist nicht wählerisch! Er ist in Bezug auf Impfstoffe und Zahnbehandlungen auf dem neuesten Stand, mit Aufzeichnungen, die er auf Anfrage oder beim Kauf vorzeigen kann. ONLINE AUCTION Place your bids at www.PlatinumEquineAuction.com Starting Bid $3500 Auction ends January 21st Check out White Rock Custom Saddles on Facebook Basalt is a 5yo 16.2HH Friesian/Dutch Harness Horse cross and his sire is a registered Friesian stallion. I purchased Basalt from the Amish because he was a bit too goofy and low energy for them. Basalt is way more whoa than go both on the ground and under-saddle. He enjoys meeting all people, particularly babies and other animals! Basalt is unbelievably gentle and has an incredibly quiet disposition, everybody is begging me to keep him because of his old-soul personality and kindness! Basalt is target trained to investigate new things to instill confidence and as a result, he is extremely curious and doesn’t spook easily. If he does spook, he just stops and flinches before checking it out so make sure you have a cookie ready to reward his bravery! Basalt knows how to park at the mounting block and waits for cookie tax before beginning a ride. He halts on a dime at the mention of “ho” or with just a gentle squeeze of the thighs. His time under-saddle is limited but he is w/t reliably and enjoys pole work. Basalt is still building muscle and learning how to balance so his canter under-saddle is not established yet but he is getting stronger every day with a willing attitude. Basalt loves to trail ride by himself in a rope halter and never turns for home, he usually passes it! He patiently lets cars go by while riding but will happily entertain chats with the neighbors from their driver’s window too. Basalt has impeccable ground manners, never crowding and moves off rope halter pressure along with verbal cues. Basalt loads/trailers quietly and stands for the farrier politely. He is barefoot with strong hooves and no need for shoes/maintenance. He is trained to lift all 4 hooves lightly so even a little kid could hold his legs up. He also loves his winter blanket and a thorough grooming! He currently lives with goats and adores them, he’s also low on the totem pole with horses and is familiar with cows, hence his lightly chewed tail (which is growing back quickly!). Basalt will excel in a home with livestock as friends or with horses, he isn’t picky! He’s fully up to date on vaccines and dental, with records to show upon request or purchase. Gli piace incontrare tutte le persone, in particolare i bambini e gli altri animali! Basalt è incredibilmente gentile e ha un'indole incredibilmente tranquilla, tutti mi pregano di tenerlo a causa della sua personalità e gentilezza da anima antica! Basalt è addestrato a indagare su cose nuove per infondere fiducia e, di conseguenza, è estremamente curioso e non si spaventa facilmente. Se si spaventa, si ferma e sussulta prima di dare un'occhiata, quindi assicurati di avere un biscotto pronto per premiare il suo coraggio! Lascia passare pazientemente le auto mentre guida, ma sarà felice di intrattenere anche chiacchierate con i vicini dal finestrino del conducente. Basalt ha maniere impeccabili a terra, non si affolla mai e si muove fuori dalla pressione della cavezza della corda insieme a segnali verbali. Basalt carica/rimorchia silenziosamente e si alza educatamente per il maniscalco. È scalzo, con zoccoli forti e non ha bisogno di scarpe/manutenzione. È addestrato a sollevare leggermente tutti e 4 gli zoccoli in modo che anche un bambino piccolo possa tenere le gambe sollevate. Ama anche la sua coperta invernale e una cura accurata! Attualmente vive con le capre e le adora, è anche basso sul totem con i cavalli e ha familiarità con le mucche, da qui la sua coda leggermente masticata (che sta ricrescendo rapidamente!). Il basalto eccellerà in una casa con il bestiame come amici o con i cavalli, non è schizzinoso! È completamente aggiornato sui vaccini e sui denti, con cartelle cliniche da mostrare su richiesta o acquisto. Il basalto non ha limiti ed è pronto per essere rifinito a modo tuo!
