Meet Wilson & Reno, a very unique and rare pair of 5 year old Friesian X geldings.
They are very well trained to both ride and drive. They can work in any setting whether it’s mowing hay in the field, working in the arena, or pulling the carriage to town on a Sunday afternoon. They do it all with ease.
Both ride very well and have been on many trail rides. They go Western, English, and even bareback. Wilson has competed in several dressage shows and scored very well. He has also done show jumping and cross country jumping. Reno is also a very fancy mover and would also make a great dressage horse.
They both drive single with confidence and have even been used to hook with young horses to teach them to drive. When paired together, they are like two peas in a pod. If you’re looking for a pair to compete in combined driving, they are super easygoing, uncomplicated in the bridle, and make for a very enjoyable pair.
On the trail, both horses will follow or lead and will willingly go anywhere you point them. They get along well in the pasture, are easygoing in and around the barn, stand quietly for the farrier, stand in the wash rack, and are easy to tack and untack.
