I’m so happy to offer Silas a 4 year old jet black crossbred gelding standing at 16.2 hands and weighs approximately 1300 pounds with the bone, presence, and build to turn heads wherever he goes. He is packed with love and a heart of gold. Don’t let his size scare you with a smooch and a click of a finger he’ll side pass to anything for you to get on… whether it’s a fence, tailgate, water trough, or anything you use!
Silas is a horse that not only catches your eye but makes your jaw drop to the floor. He’s one of thoose horses that you could stare at for hours and not get bored. With his deep black coat, matching mane and tail, soft eye, and standout confirmation.. big hip, strong neck, clean legs, and a solid top line. Silas is built to impress. He’s an easy keeper, stays in great shape with minimal effort. He’s not only stunning but he truly has a heart of gold. He is the definition of a puppy dog all he ever wants is loving and pats. He is always wondering what you’re doing and wants to be in your pocket. If he could he would want to do everything with you! Now he’s not only just looks and personality he is very fun to ride anywhere! He is very willing to learn and easy to teach anything to! He is one hand broke with a turn around and stop. I have taken many reining lessons with him, rode him english not only in an arena but through town and trail rides, he has been roped off of, used for day work, used on the feed lot, carried the American flag at lots of rodeos, been in many parades, and trail rode more times than I can keep track of! Did I mention he dosnt bat an eye at fire. He is my go to ride for anything! I always say if I were to ride a horse through battle it would be him! You can saddle him english or western and take him anywhere or do anything without a bat of an eye! I sure have had a blast owning him and getting to work with him it’s now somebody else’s turn to enjoy this phenomenal horse!
