Theodore is a hunk of a gelding standing 18 hands. He is built to perfection and the best cross of calm, cool and collected with some athleticism sprinkled in. He is absolutely safe and gentle enough for any level of rider.
Theodore is well versed in driving both single and double. He is broke under English tack and has seen some fences in the arena and cross country obstacles in the field. He is uncomplicated and will go over anything you point him at. Stands for mounting and dismounting.
Theodore rides one handed in a bridle or two handed in a snaffle bit. He is responsive enough for light hands and legs while not being overly sensitive to beginner type hands and legs. He will lope with a kiss and stop with a woah. Drop your reins anywhere and he will stand like a gentleman until asked to go again. He could care less where his buddies are and is confident and independent. We have also yet to find anything Theodore has spooked at or refused.
On the ground Theodore is as affectionate and as friendly as they get. He will meet you at the gate, lower his head for haltering, bridling and unbridling. He is great with his feet, stands tied, loads/unloads and hauls like a dream. We have yet to find a vice in this guy and cannot say enough good things about him. Theodore is sound, straight and clean legged.
