Lorsqu’il franchit des obstacles en terrain, il peut parfois être un peu trop prudent, mais cela pourrait évoluer avec de l’expérience. La traversée d’eau ne pose aucun problème, vidéos disponibles. En raison de son caractère et de sa motivation (plutôt vif, motivé, très sensible aux aides), il n’est pas recommandé pour des cavaliers débutants. Na przeszkodach terenowych wykazuje ostrożność, co może się jeszcze zmienić wraz z doświadczeniem. Woda nie stanowi dla niego problemu – dostępne są filmy. Ze względu na jego charakter i chęć do pracy (raczej szybki i zmotywowany, bardzo wrażliwy na sygnały jeźdźca) nie jest odpowiedni dla początkujących.
