Duplo is a 5-year-old DSP gelding by Don Plasier out of a Renier mare. He currently stands approximately 1.74 meters (17.1 hh). His walk is characterized by ample space and always remains steady and rhythmical. His trot is lively and dynamic, yet easy to sit. The canter is uphill and also exhibits plenty of freedom of movement. He was gently backed in June 2024, consistently displaying a well-behaved and fearless attitude towards new experiences. He is familiar with both outdoor arenas and cross-country, and handles both alone and in a group without issues. He approaches obstacles confidently and fearlessly. At his first competition in July 2024, he immediately placed in a strong field of 4-year-olds. He handled his tasks confidently and was unaffected by the new environment. In September 2024, he successfully completed a riding horse test. Throughout 2025, he was also placed multiple times in young horse classes. 

Despite his primarily dressage-oriented pedigree, he shows a good effort in jumping (both free jumping and under saddle) and always strives to please. He is familiar with dogs, children, large machinery, is loading-friendly, and always well-behaved at the farrier. 

In daily handling, he is uncomplicated, friendly, and human-oriented. His teeth were checked at the end of March 2026, and he received osteopathic treatment in April 2026. Currently, he is fully shod, but barefoot is also no problem. 

Ideally, someone with experience in young horses, who is still in the developmental and training phase, and wishes to refine a young, promising horse, would be a good match given his age.
