Loki is a 5yr old Appaloosa cross, standing at 13.2HH. This guy may be the size of a pony but his deamor and handle are all horse! If he doesn’t make you drool looking at him with those luscious locks his kind heart and willing to please personality will!! Loki has been rode all over the trails and is very familiar with wildlife, vehicles and pedestrians. He takes it all in stride and always on his best behavior. He has smooth gaits for his little stride, and gives to pressure, both in the bridle, as well as leg pressure. He pivots his shoulders, side passes, and reverses all at a light touch. Lopes each way very effortlessly and has an amazing collected stop. He’s easy to catch, lets you clip and bathe him no problem. He stands quietly for the farrier and loads in any trailer without hesitation. We have carried the tarp and flag on him and he could care less. He has a more whoa than go type of way about him, but he will go anywhere you want without having to always plug on him. This little guy has all the potential in the world to go any direction his new owner would like to finish him out in! Trail course competitions, versatility shows, or I also think he would make an exceptional English pony! He’s calm, and gentle, suiting the entire family or lesson programs!
