Fancy is a gorgeous 7 year old chestnut tobiano paint mare. Along with her cuteness, she is the perfect height standing at 14.3 hands tall and all the shape you could want. Fancy isn't just an eye catcher she is very well bred and goes back to the great cutting horse Doc O’Lena and is out of an own daughter of Shining Spark. She is very well broke and rides like one should. She will W/T/L, side pass and works off leg pressure. Fancy is absolutely broke for any level rider. She’s honest, gentle and safe.
Fancy will walk all day if asked. She has a nice trot to her and transitions to a nice smooth lope. She neck reins with one hand, responsive to leg cues, backs and has a big stop when asked. You can ride her bareback with a halter or grass string if you want. Fancy will meet you at the gate wanting all the attention.
She is out standing on the trails and has been trail ridden extensively through many different types of terrain. She is sure footed and honest. Fancy is not spooky and will cross creeks, go through any body type of water, thick brush, logs, bridges, rough terrain, up and down cliffs with ease. She has been rode on the road and is used to all kinds of traffic, heavy machinery and ATV’s. She is also dog safe. You can ride Fancy out alone with ease or with other horses.
Fancy has also been used to sort and pen cattle at shows as well on the ranch. She will stand still for you to get on her from the ground or a mounting block. She stands to be groomed, fly spray, stands still to be saddled, takes the bridle with ease, bathes good, loads like a dream, clips great, and stands for the farrier.
