Windsor wurde 4-jährig leicht angeritten vom Züchter gekauft und befindet sich seitdem in unserem Besitz (11 Jahre). Rittigkeit & Charakter: Windsor ist absolut ehrlich und menschenbezogen. Er ist jedoch kein reines Anfängerpferd, da er eine weiche Hand und eine korrekten Führung braucht. Zudem beherrscht er erweiterte Lektionen (Seitengänge). Handling & Sicherheit: Angenehm und unkompliziert im täglichen Umgang. Schmied und Tierarzt sind absolut problemlos. Das Verladen ist unkompliziert. Im Gelände ist er sensibel und benötigt einen routinierten Reiter, der ihm Sicherheit vermittelt. Er ist dabei jedoch stets kontrollierbar und berechenbar. Haltung & Gesundheit: Steht seit 11 Jahren in einer Paddockbox mit vormittags Weidegang. Er wird mit Holzspänen eingestreut und erhält nasses Heu. Er hatte in langen, trockenen Perioden vereinzelt leichte, kurzzeitige Entzündungen der oberen Luftwege, die mit Hustenmitteln schnell behoben waren. In den letzten drei Jahren (feuchteres Klima) war er diesbezüglich praktisch unauffällig. Der Käufer sollte dies bei der Haltungsform berücksichtigen. Abgabe nur in gute und kompetente Hände. Ridingability & Temperament: Windsor is completely honest and very people-oriented. However, he is not a beginner’s horse, as he requires a gentle hand and correct guidance. He also performs advanced movements, including lateral work. Handling & Safety: He is pleasant and uncomplicated in daily handling. The farrier and veterinarian are no problem at all. Loading is straightforward. In the field, he is sensitive and needs an experienced rider who can provide him with confidence. Nevertheless, he is always controllable and predictable. Stabling & Health: He has been housed in a paddock box with turnout in the mornings for 11 years. He is bedded on wood shavings and receives wet hay. During long dry periods, he occasionally experienced mild, short-term upper respiratory inflammation, which was quickly resolved with cough medication. In the past three years, under more humid conditions, he has been practically symptom-free. Prospective buyers should consider this when choosing his housing.
