Max ist ein 9-jähriger belgischer Kaltblutwallach (ca. 1,70 m groß, rund 850 kg schwer) – ein echter Hingucker mit imposanter Erscheinung und einem Herz aus Gold. Er ist grundausgebildet, kennt die Arbeit am Boden sehr gut und macht Gelassenheitstraining mit Bravour. Auch das Fahren vom Boden ist für ihn kein Problem – deshalb können wir uns Max sehr gut als Freizeitfahrpferd oder sogar als Holzrückepferd vorstellen. Max ist vom Typ her sensibel und braucht eine sichere, ruhige Bezugsperson, die ihm Vertrauen und Orientierung gibt. Auch wenn er kräftig wirkt, ist er eher ein vorsichtiger Charakter, der in unsicheren Momenten einfach den Rückzug sucht. Böse Absichten hat er dabei nie – er braucht einfach jemanden, der ihm Sicherheit schenkt und ihn gelassen führt. Er ist angeritten, wird aber aktuell nicht regelmäßig geritten. Ein Probereiten ist daher nur bedingt möglich. In der Herde zeigt sich Max sozial, verspielt und freundlich – er liebt es, mit seinen Kumpels zu toben, und wünscht sich auch im neuen Zuhause einen passenden Pferdefreund. Bisher stand er mit Wallachen zusammen, über Stuten können wir daher keine Aussage treffen. Gesundheitlich ist Max PSSM1-positiv und hat eine Warzenmauke (typisch Kaltblut, aber aktuell nicht stark ausgeprägt. ) Mit entsprechender Haltung und Fütterung lässt sich beides gut managen. Ein großes Blutbild ist gerade gemacht worden und dies ist ohne weitere Auffälligkeiten. Für Max gilt ganz klar: Platz vor Preis! Er soll ein Zuhause finden, in dem man seine sensible Seele sieht, ihm Sicherheit gibt und seine sanfte Art zu schätzen weiß. He has previously been kept with geldings; we cannot comment on his compatibility with mares. Health-wise, Max tests positive for PSSM1 and has a papilloma (wart) on his neck, which is typical for draft horses but currently not severe. Both conditions can be well managed with proper care and feeding. A recent full blood panel was performed, with no abnormalities detected. For Max, the saying “location before price” definitely applies! He is looking for a home where his sensitive soul is recognized, where he can feel secure, and where his gentle nature is appreciated.
