Dublin is a 11 year old, 16.2 1/2 Belgian/Quarter horse cross gelding. He is a total dreamboat with good looks and the best personality. Dublin is incredibly dependable and consistent, making him an excellent confidence booster. Children and adults alike have enjoyed riding Dublin. His good nature and calm demeanor have quickly made him a favorite in our barn. Everyone driving through comments on his flashy roan coloring.
Dublin has visited Tractor Supply and gone through the McDonald’s drive thru (see video).
He loves eating snacks and meeting new people. He is sensible in strange environments. He has had kids climb all over him and is unfazed by shenanigans. We have pulled wagons with him, thrown balls off him, and ridden him on the sidewalk. He’s a steady-eddy, consistent service dog type.
Dublin is well broke English and Western. He has three comfortable, adjustable gaits both inside and outside of the ring. He is happy to go trail riding, cross country schooling, cross water and bridges, fox hunt, or show off in the dressage ring. With his western training, he will also excel in ranch or pleasure work. He is happy to go on a leisurely trail ride one day and tackle a jumping lesson the next. He is always ready to jump on the trailer and go for a ride around town or even go to competitions. He has been ridden in different environments by riders of all levels. He responds well to seat and leg cues and is soft in the bridle. He has good brakes and gives his rider a great, confidence-boosting feeling. He is solid underneath you and as steady as they come.
With Dublin's versatility, he can be enjoyed by the whole family. This is the type of horse you can pull out and put your friends and family on for a trail ride, and have peace of mind the whole time. He has smooth, uphill movement that anyone can ride comfortably. Dublin can help you safely reach your goals as a rider, no matter what you dream of.
On the ground, Dublin is a big sweetheart. He is good around small children, cats, dogs, goats, farm animals, and construction equipment. He picks up his feet politely and is good for bathing. He lives next to a gun range and is used to loud noises. He is snuggly, but never pushy. He loves being groomed, and would be happy to hang out with you all day. He will always make you smile with his puppy dog personality and his sweet demeanor.
In the field, Dublin is easygoing in a herd. He can be turned out with others and he is good in a stall. He is easy to catch and usually meets you at the gate. He is good for the vet and farrier and trailers easily. He is an easygoing, no-nonsense kind of guy. He is good to be ridden every day, but also fine with having a week off - no lunging or prep needed.
Dublin is an easy keeper. He does not currently take any supplements or require maintenance. He has no known vices or issues of any kind. He has great feet and a solid build.
Horses like this don’t come along often. What makes this horse special is that he is always agreeable and sensible with great manners and incredible athleticism. This is the type of horse you always look forward to seeing and can share with the whole family. Dublin is ready to be your best friend.
