Ruger ist ein sehr gut bewegliches Pferd mit einem natürlichen Laufgang, der glatt ist und bis zu 12 Meilen pro Stunde 4 schlägt. Ruger wurde um landwirtschaftliche Geräte, ATVs, über große laute Planen gefahren und hat auch Gewehre von seinem Rücken geschossen, als er auf der Jagd nach Coons war. Auf den Trails ist er immer toll und kennt sich in den rauen Wäldern aus! Er war allen Arten von Wildtieren wie Hirschen oder Truthähnen oder anderen Tieren wie Kühen oder Hunden ausgesetzt und wird überall hingehen, wo er gefragt wird. Ruger has his home down in the roughest part of wilderness that Kentucky has to offer, Harlan County. He has been shown at Saturday night fun shows, ridden on saddle club rides, been on overnight camping trips and been in several states. Ruger is a very well moving horse with a natural runwalking gait that is smooth and will 4-beat upto 12mph. Ruger has been ridden around farm equipment, ATV’s, over large noisy tarps and has also had guns shot off of his back when hes been coon hunting. On the trails he is always great and knows his way around the rough forests! He has been exposed to all kinds of wildlife such as deer or turkey or other animals like cows or dogs and will go anywhere that he is asked too. He has been rode many miles in the mountains of Eastern Kentucky and encountered every obstacle possible on the trail. He will go up or down even the steepest slopes, across deep creeks, over downed trees, and over all types of rough terrain while still being sure footed. He has been rode in traffic, and is very traffic safe around cars, semi, log, and dump trucks.
