Gunsmoke is searching for his next cowboy or cowgirl to give him all the love and attention he deserves. He has an endless supply of pony kisses to give in return! He is a beautiful, bright red sorrel gelding who has been vet checked to be around 8 years old. He stands approximately 48” tall. He’s not too big and not too small, but just right! He’s a sturdy-built pony; no skinny little Shetland legs on this guy! He has healthy all-black hooves, never been foundered, and has a long flowing mane and tail. He’s safe for kids and has been exposed to everything under the sun - goats, sheep, cats, dogs, traffic, tractors, running kids, creeks, flags and more. He takes every new experience in stride and has a good head on him. He has been played with on barrels, goat tying, roping goats and will trail ride all over the farm for hours. Gunsmoke will stand nicely for kids to brush and tack him up, he tolerates fly spray, mane and tail spray, hoof trims, and has never offered to kick or bite anyone. He’s easy to catch in a field and trailers fine. He’s been hauled to many roping and youth rodeos and has had no issue with any of the chaos going on around him. Gunsmoke will sell with a PPE, which he passed with flying colors. It was completed in October by equine vet, John Laster, of Todd County Animal Clinic. He also has a current negative Coggins.
