He is 13.2 hands tall, thick made with excellent bone and good feet. He is small enough for the kids but big enough for an adult to ride. Anyone can ride him and he is more whoa than go and is very happy to mosey down the trail. He will trot and lope with ease when asked. He knows his leads, lopes nice circles and has a very good stop. He baby sits our kids and keeps them entertained while we work. He has a good one handed neck rein and is a trail riders deluxe. Goes where he's asked, he will follow a trail or he will go off through the thick brush, cross the river and bridges without hesitation. We have done mounted shooting with Montana. He is not bothered by gunfire and he is perfect for the little wrangler wanting to get started. Montana has been rode all over the mountain, sure footed and solid. He has gathered and pushed cattle. Montana gets along well in a mixed herd. He is easy to catch, good in a stall, no bad habits or vices. He loads in and backs out of the trailer, hauls well. Montana stands well for the farrier and is good for the vet. He is up to date on worming, vaccinations and farrier. He comes with complete dental, farrier, vet records and health exam.
