This beautiful gelding likes to go slow! If you need a horse that has smooth gaits, Sailor is your guy! He has a nice slow jog, and a slow lope! Ride him on a loose rein around town or in the arena! This boy is in no hurry! Sailor responds to leg pressure, will move off your leg, open and close gates and will side pass!
Sailor is an old soul and is a phenomenal solid trail mount! He is sure footed, maneuvers through thick brush and rocky trails easily! He has spent a lot of time outside on the ranch and is a solid ranch gelding!
As Sailor prefers to mozy down trails with his rider he does have a second gear! Just give him a nice squeeze and he will move out for you! We have taken Sailor to many obstacle courses and cow sortings!
Not much phases Sailor. He has a kind demeanor, gentle on the ground and will stand tied all day. Sailor has been hauled out to new places frequently and hops off the trailer like he has been to that new place many times! Sailor would excel in a therapy program as he is so kind and mellow on the ground and in the saddle!
