Meet Penny! She’s a 12-year-old, 12hh chestnut pony mare, and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a pony as beautiful as her. She has a gorgeous deep red coat, and she’s as sweet as they come on the ground. Penny loves kids and is very respectful to work around. She gives kisses on command, and there’s not much this gal won’t do for a cookie or any sweet you have in your pocket. Penny has a quiet walk, a tiny trot, and just a kick gets her into a canter. She’s soft in your hand and listens well to voice commands. Her transitions are simple kiss to trot, kick to canter, and say “whoa” and she stops easily! The little kiddos can flop all over on a long rein and she will not go too fast. Did I mention she’s smooth? She has perfect gaits for a child who’s learning, as she’s as comfortable as a couch. Penny has extensive miles out on the trails. She’s been ridden all over Michigan and Ohio and has even been camping. She’s no stranger to woods, water, traffic, or wildlife. She’s been over bridges, through tunnels, and down the road! This is a pony who’s had years of kid miles, and her family has thrown every child antic at her she takes it all in stride. In the mood to do pony yoga? Groom for hours? Costume classes? She’s done it all with her littles and is always happy to soak up the attention. She plays well outside with others, and you can catch her anywhere. Penny requires nothing special. She’s the perfect size for any child, but sturdy enough that an adult can easily hop on. This pony will only sell to the best of homes where she will be loved and used. She’s beautifully colored and also well broke to drive! She stands to harness and hook up, and she drives like a Tesla. Just hold the lines or even better, climb in the cart and she’ll take you down the road, into town, through a parade, or even sledding! She is kid tested, mom-and-dad approved!
