With a heavy heart, I am seeking a 5-star home for our 14-year-old pony mare. !!Not a children's pony!! Paula had a laminitis episode before we acquired her, which caused a pedal bone rotation, and she also has a dust allergy. There have been no laminitis episodes in the past two years, and the pedal bone rotation has already improved by about half. Additionally, allergy treatments have been performed several times, and she has been symptom-free since. On cold days, she experiences issues with her right hind hock and meniscus, so she simply needs a walk break on those days. Otherwise, she is fully capable of being ridden and worked. She receives physiotherapy and chiropractic care every few months. I still hope she can be kept in a paddock box or stall near the door, with adjusted hay feeding—no 24/7 hay!! This is not an emergency sale; it must be a perfect fit for us 100%.
