Torino is a Polish Warmblood and came to Germany at the age of 6 through a dealer from Poland. Since then, he has been in my possession and kept in a paddock. He does not know what a stall is.

The main issue from the beginning has been saddle/girth anxiety, nervousness when being saddled, and "panic" when mounting. Torino needs trust in his person and a consistently fitting saddle. Currently, he is not being ridden due to a lack of time and is not being moved/gymnastized enough. After a reasonable muscle build-up, saddle adjustment, and trust in his person, he can become a riding horse again. He is not suitable as a riding horse for children! He is absolutely lovable, very easy to handle (also with children), and gentle. He is curious, sensitive, but still robust, with a rather baroque/stout type and a more laid-back demeanor.

He is familiar with groundwork, is a cool character, for example, unflinching with tarps, fluttering ribbons, knows the seesaw, etc.

Housing:
Torino has been in a paddock for 9 years with a small trail in a small mixed herd (3 geldings, 1 mare). He is low in rank, barefoot, and is fed from round feeders with a fine mesh net to prevent gulping. He is easy to keep and only spends a few hours every few days in the pasture. He does not know box confinement.

Due to a change in hobby, I am now, with a heavy heart, trying to find a nice place for him where he can be more in focus.
