Holly hatte ihr Zuhause verloren und lebt aktuell im Tierschutzverein Rainbowpony. Sie ist nun bereit für eine Vermittlung. Standort: 3474 Kollersdorf (Österreich, zwischen Krems und Tulln) Holly ist eine 14 jährige fuchsfarbene Stute mit einer sanften, sehr präsenten Art. Dem Menschen gegenüber zeigt sie sich aufgeschlossen, neugierig und verschmust. Sie sucht Nähe auf ihre eigene, ruhige Weise und bleibt dabei aufmerksam und fein in der Kommunikation. Da Holly aus einer behördlichen Beschlagnahmung zu uns gekommen ist, wissen wir nur sehr wenig über ihre Vergangenheit. Manche Situationen meistert sie gelassen, andere machen sie noch skeptisch oder leicht überfordert. In solchen Momenten braucht sie Zeit, Sicherheit und Menschen, die ihr mit Geduld, Klarheit und Ruhe begegnen. Holly hat eine Schale im rechten Krongelenk wodurch sie nicht reitbar ist. Der Röntgenbefund war leider sehr schlecht und sie soll somit körperlich nur bedingt gefordert werden (Schrittarbeit, Spaziergänge). Doch vom Kopf her ist sie hochmotiviert, sehr lernwillig und möchte beschäftigt werden. Daher wünschen wir uns für sie einen Platz wo sie einen Menschen hat der oder die sich mit ihr beschäftigt. Sie liebt Freiarbeit und geputzt werden. Spaziergänge meistert sie aktuell nur in Begleitung eines anderen Pferdes. Holly wird regelmäßig entwurmt beziehungsweise beprobt, befindet sich in der Grundimmunisierung für Tetanus, da wir ihren Impfstatus nicht kannten und ihre Zähne wurden im Herbst 2025 korrigiert. Wie ihre Hufsituation am Besten zu managen ist, finden wir gerade raus. Bei regelmässiger Belastung, bzw abhängig von den Bodenverhältnissen könnte ein Hufschutz jedoch nötig sein. Sie ist sehr sozial und eher rangniedrig. Bei uns wird sie in Offenstall gehalten, kommt sehr gut damit zurecht, wird aber auch herdenabhängig sein. In reine Boxenhaltung wird sie nicht abgegeben, Box nachts wäre eine gute Option für sie. Sie kommt aktuell mit Heu ad libitum gut zurecht, ob das dauerhaft funktioniert wird sich herausstellen, sie sollte nämlich aufgrund ihrer Diagnose natürlich nicht zu viel Gewicht auf die Beine bekommen. Location: 3474 Kollersdorf (Austria, between Krems and Tulln) Holly is a 14-year-old chestnut mare with a gentle yet very confident personality. She is open, curious, and affectionate towards people. She seeks closeness in her own calm way, remaining attentive and communicating clearly and subtly. Since Holly was confiscated by authorities, we know very little about her past. Some situations she handles calmly, while others make her still somewhat skeptical or slightly overwhelmed. In such moments, she needs time, security, and people who approach her with patience, clarity, and calmness. Holly has a shell in her right fetlock joint, which makes her unrideable. The X-ray results were unfortunately very poor, so she should only be physically exercised lightly (walks, groundwork). However, mentally, she is highly motivated, eager to learn, and enjoys being engaged. We are looking for a home where she can have a person who spends time with her. She loves liberty work and being groomed. Currently, she only goes for walks in the company of another horse. Holly is regularly dewormed and tested, and she is up to date on her tetanus vaccination, as we did not know her vaccination status. Her teeth were corrected in autumn 2025. We are currently figuring out the best way to manage her hoof care. With regular activity and depending on the ground conditions, hoof protection might be necessary. She is very social and tends to be lower in the herd hierarchy. We keep her in an open stable, which she adapts to very well, but she will also be herd-dependent. She is not available for full box stall housing; however, overnight stabling in a box would be a good option. She currently manages well on hay ad libitum, but whether this can be maintained will depend on her condition, as she should not gain too much weight due to her diagnosis. Holly a perdu son foyer et vit actuellement au refuge Rainbowpony. Elle est désormais prête à être placée dans une nouvelle famille. Elle se montre ouverte, curieuse et câline envers l’humain. Elle recherche la proximité à sa manière calme, tout en restant attentive et précise dans sa communication. Étant arrivée chez nous suite à une saisie administrative, nous savons très peu de choses sur son passé. Certaines situations, elle les gère avec sérénité, d’autres la rendent encore méfiante ou légèrement dépassée. Dans ces moments-là, elle a besoin de temps, de sécurité et de personnes qui lui offrent patience, clarté et calme. Holly présente une fracture au niveau du ligament du carpe droit, ce qui la rend non montable. Le résultat de la radiographie était malheureusement très mauvais, et elle ne doit donc être sollicitée physiquement que de manière limitée (pas de trot, promenades). Cependant, d’un point de vue mental, elle est très motivée, désire apprendre et être occupée. Nous souhaitons donc pour elle une place où elle pourra bénéficier de la compagnie d’un humain ou d’un accompagnement attentif. Elle adore le travail en liberté et le pansage. Actuellement, elle ne se promène qu’en compagnie d’un autre cheval. Holly est régulièrement vermifugée et testée, et elle bénéficie d’une primo-vaccination contre le tétanos, car son statut vaccinal était inconnu. Ses dents ont été corrigées à l’automne 2025. Nous sommes en train de déterminer la meilleure gestion pour ses sabots. Avec une activité régulière ou en fonction des conditions de sol, un ferrage ou un protection des sabots pourrait être nécessaire. Très sociable et plutôt de rang inférieur, elle vit chez nous en paddock, ce qui lui convient très bien, mais elle sera également compatible avec une hiérarchie de troupe. Elle ne sera pas donnée en boxe seule, mais une nuit en boxe pourrait être une bonne option pour elle. Actuellement, elle se nourrit de foin à volonté, mais il reste à voir si cela pourra durer, puisqu’en raison de son diagnostic, il ne faut pas qu’elle prenne trop de poids sur ses jambes. Holly heeft haar thuis verloren en woont momenteel bij de dierenbeschermingsorganisatie Rainbowpony. Ze is nu klaar voor herplaatsing. Locatie: 3474 Kollersdorf (Oostenrijk, tussen Krems en Tulln) Holly is een 14-jarige voskleurige merrie met een zachte, zeer aanwezige uitstraling. Ze toont zich tegenover mensen open, nieuwsgierig en knuffelbaar. Ze zoekt op haar eigen rustige wijze nabijheid, blijft daarbij alert en communiceert fijn en subtiel. Omdat Holly uit een overheidsinbeslagname bij ons is gekomen, weten we maar heel weinig over haar verleden. Sommige situaties verwerkt ze kalm, andere maken haar nog sceptisch of licht overbelast. In zulke momenten heeft ze tijd, veiligheid en mensen nodig die haar met geduld, duidelijkheid en rust benaderen. Holly heeft een hoefschade aan haar rechter krongelenk waardoor ze niet bereden kan worden. De röntgenfoto was helaas erg slecht, waardoor ze fysiek slechts beperkt belast kan worden (bijvoorbeeld stapwerk en wandelingen). Maar mentaal is ze zeer gemotiveerd, leergierig en wil ze bezig gehouden worden. Daarom zoeken we voor haar een plek waar ze een mens heeft die zich met haar bezighoudt. Ze houdt van vrijwerk en gepoetst worden. Wandelen doet ze momenteel alleen in gezelschap van een ander paard. Holly wordt regelmatig ontwormd en getest, en is gevaccineerd tegen tetanus, omdat haar vaccinatiestatus niet bekend was. Haar tanden zijn in herfst 2025 gecorrigeerd. Hoe haar hoefverzorging het beste te managen is, proberen we momenteel uit. Bij regelmatige belasting en afhankelijk van de bodemgesteldheid kan hoefbeschermer nodig zijn. Ze is zeer sociaal en heeft een ondergeschikte rang. Bij ons staat ze op een paddock met open stal, wat ze goed verdraagt, maar ze zal ook afhankelijk zijn van de groepsdynamiek. In een volledig staldier wordt ze niet geplaatst, maar een nachtrust in de stal zou een goede optie voor haar zijn. Ze komt momenteel goed overweg met hooi, ad libitum, maar of dit blijvend mogelijk is, zal blijken. Vanwege haar diagnose mag ze natuurlijk niet te veel gewicht op haar benen krijgen.
