With a heavy heart, I am offering my gelding for sale. Spartakus stands approximately 165 cm at the withers, born in 2014. He is easy to handle and currently out of competition, gradually being reintroduced to training. He previously competed successfully up to class L1 and also participated in eventing competitions up to CNC 100 level. At home, he has jumped up to 135 cm over single fences and 110/120 cm in cross-country. He is capable of dressage movements such as shoulder-in and flying changes. Spartakus is very agile, making shortcuts during competitions effortless; due to his spacious frame, he doesn't need to run fast to outpace larger horses. He adapts quickly to new environments and transports without issues. Spartakus is regularly vaccinated and dewormed, under the consistent care of a physiotherapist and farrier. 

Thanks to his experience and slender build, he is ideally suited for a confident child at beginner to intermediate level who has the ambition to develop further. He is perfect for ambitious recreational riding or introducing a young rider to the world of sport, with potential for higher-level competition in the future if his health allows. He is calm in the field, both alone and with other horses; he does not buck, spook, or fear water. 

Available with a saddle fitted by a professional saddle fitter and other equipment tailored to him. Unfortunately, Spartakus suffered an injury involving the cervical vertebrae C5 and C6, affecting the nerve exits, but he has fully recovered. The injury will not recur and will not affect his performance. Price negotiable.
